Welcome to St. Rita
 
For 86 years, St. Rita’s Catholic School has been an outstanding Catholic educational institution for children in New Orleans. St. Rita is a place for strong leaders, we challenge students to become life-long learners who are self-motivated and accountable for their education. Students reach the highest level of academic achievement, grow in their faith, make lifelong friendships, and experience the power of service to others. St. Rita’s Catholic School prepares young students for college, while practicing their faith in an environment in which the Good News of Jesus Christ is proclaimed through the values taught in the school community.

St. Rita School is a state-accredited school under the auspicious of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.  The school is a principle ministry of St Rita Church. St. Rita received SACS accreditation in June of 2010. St. Rita has been administered by the Marianites Sisters of Holy Cross since its doors opened in 1924. Students of all races and creeds, who meet our academic guidelines, are welcome at St. Rita School.
