Returning for a third year at St. Rita School, the Isaiah 43 parenting program will kick-off the Fall semester on Thursday, August 31st at 5:30pm in the School Library.
Isaiah 43 is a parenting program created in partnership with the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The program is rooted in Judeo-Christian values and teachings with a mission of strengthening and supporting families to bring about a change in the culture of our society. Isaiah 43 empowers parents and youth to be active in promoting peace in their neighborhoods and to live by the values of love, peace, and forgiveness. The program engages youth and parents to encourage peaceful conflict resolution, skillful communication, constructive discipline, forgiveness, and leadership development.
As we seek to put our scholars in a place that they can succeed, so we desire successful families. Isaiah 43 offers benefits to all family types. As an even greater bonus, dinners and childcare are provided. Plus, attendance will qualify parents for incentives for their child and special prizes for themselves.
